B. Felt values our wholesale clients and is always pleased to assist you with information that will aid you with your clients when deciding which pieces to order. Our goal is to keep you up-to-date with our B. Felt collection.
B. Felt offers an imaginative collection of exquisitely hand felted wearable art. All decoration is done by hand using the finest materials and created in my studio in Lowell, Massachusetts. Our garments and accessories are created using 100% organic merino wool, new and vintage silk
When placing an order, please be specific about the color and style name and quantity you are ordering. Swatches for solid, Shibori, and other hand-dyed and felted fabrics are available in most color ranges upon request. B. Felt charges for general care, alterations and repairs due to wear. These charges are determined on a case by case basis. To help your customers properly maintain their B. Felt garments and make them last for years, please see our care instructions
Custom size orders are not returnable. When placing a custom order please call us with any questions. We are happy to help you determine the correct size and style for your customer. Thank you
Wholesale terms
New clients Please Call so we can discuss what would be the best pieces for your store.
New clients must provide references and first order paid before shipping with a Credit Card.
Repeat clients can go on net 30. However, they must pay by check. If the client wants to use a credit card there will be a 2.7% processing fee added to the final bill.
Shipping is paid by client. B. Felt usually ships via USPS Priority mail. If client has a shipping account and would rather I use their preferred method, it is doable.
Pick boxes are also possible with a credit card hold. B. Felt pays shipping/delivery one way and client pays for return of merchandise. Turnaround time is important for this to succeed, one week only.

Holey Shrug

Spiral Cocoon
Art is all about problem solving. This cocoon design is the result of a collaboration with a client seeking a sheer light weight garment to wear over a plain dress, but still have the dress visible. The patterning on this particular cocoon is the universal spiral which is the Indian symbol for life. There will be other patterns and colors in this shape.

Mondrian Inspired Poncho

Description: Slightly heavier than a shawl but lighter and more casual than a jacket or a coat. This hand felted, 100% merino wool and silk poncho drapes beautifully over the body. The black white and red motif makes a playful nod toward the artist Mondrian. The fringe adds a playful swish when you walk. There are snaps on the sides to create armholes but can be left unsnapped for a looser look and feel. The front closes with a brass hook and eye and there are two patch pockets on the front.

Shibori Cowl, Black & Red

A big cozy cowl frames your face in this hand felted pullover. The garment is created white and then dyed twice, once for the black and once for the shibori stitched details in red. It is a labor intensive process to do all the running stitches of the shibori technique but the results are worth it. This pullover is my answer to polar fleece. I wanted to create a garment with the ease of a polar fleece pullover but with a bit of an edge. The front even has two pockets!
